Paintings Dear Sirs :- Timeline I received your letter of May 27th, and also the small portrait of Madame Renoir referred to therein. I like Slide Show the picture very much, but the price is more than twice what I have paid for Renoirs of the same size, and certainly of as fine quality. I shall, therefore, return the painting to you by Archives express on Monday so that you may sell it to your other client ABCD who is willing to pay the price you ask. Index I am very glad both for your sake and mine that the price of Renoirs has increased so very much since I started to buy them in considerable numbers.
